Our Thanksgiving plans have changed. We were planning to go to Tela on the north coast, where we went last Thanksgiving. But after hearing how much the bus tickets and hotel would be, we decided it was a better idea to make our own Thanksgiving here! So we're making a dinner with Tim and Liz with stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn, sweet potatoes and the turkey we just bought today! I've never made a turkey before, so we'll see how it goes. Tim wants a 'turken' (chicken inside a turkey) so maybe that's what will happen! Anyway, I think I'm more excited about staying here and just relaxing instead of traveling. We are just so looking forward to Christmas, that it was hard to get excited about our Thanksgiving vacation. Christmas is just around the corner! School is going well. We just had a spaghetti dinner to raise money for some computers to be sent from the states. God really worked through this dinner and we met our goal! The people just kept coming through the doors! We had dinner at one of our student's houses after church today. It was really good, but long. Then we had to go shopping after that, so we got back up around 5. Our electricity was out from 7-4:30 yesterday, but thankfully came on for the Calvin game! But then, our internet decided to go out during overtime!!! So, we moved to the porch to try and connect to our neighbor's internet. It worked for a little, but we missed the end of the game. But we are so proud of the boys!!! Final Four once again. :) Luke's soccer team here is doing well. I've been able to watch a few of their games and it's been fun! We also got to skype with Lily on her birthday...it was so great to see all of them! Here are a few pics from lately.
